Unlimited stopover in bkk. Two flights for the price of one - a great deal, considering CX is charging 400 for bkk to hkg.

The fare basis CLOWTN is throwing up this interesting catch on a refundable ticket:

NOTE- REFUND TICKETS NOT PERMITTED OUTSIDE TUNIS DUE CENTRAL BANK INSTRUCTION

U2 has LTN-NBE. it is actually cheaper than most other countries for getting to Tunisia.

Tunisair and Nouvelair direct from LGW.
Vueling via BCN
LH via FRA.

Schlepping to LTN, a 3.5 hour easyJet flight, a 1.5 hour taxi to TUN + overnight hotel stay? You are braver than I.

if the notion of LTN is already too much, maybe buying a fare departing TUN with 2 stops is not the best idea for you.

Ive flown 40,000 miles in the last 4 weeks yet I would not attempt it. A trip to LTN is no way to start a journey in J - itd leave one dirtier than the jacuzzi in QRs AS lounge.

They do seem to have currency controls in place. Not a great thing, though I wonder what "outside Tunis" means in this context.

I've seen this on other fares ex-Tunis but usually it only applies if the ticket was purchased in Dinars. I'm guessing RJ made a typo.

Other tickets:
NOTE-REFUND TICKETS NOT PERMITTED OUTSIDE TUNIS DUE CENTRAL BANK INSTRUCTION. UNLESS OTHERWISE TICKET ISSUED OUTSIDE TUN

Air Europa seems to work from many European destinations, otherwise take a bus or lowcost flight to Madrid?

The combined RJ/CX or RJ/MH fares have been around for long (work from European countries as well), but I have never been able to book one with a long stopover or even layover in BKK. OTAs seem lost and RJ's website is not possible, because they only give you options for the BKK-HKG/KUL leg via AMM (and price accordingly). Any tips?
