Do you want to see my tickets starting from 2011....no point in this discussion- its not a special fare. Its a regular promotion fare.

No, I don’t think this is regular price, especially post-pandemic. It’s roughly of 20~25% discount.

Used to go down till 16k TWD. That was the real promo fare- anyways MH will soon find that post pandemic fares it has been pandering are not sustainable especially as more and more CN carriers come online.

how do CN carriers impact flights from taiwan to South East Asia?

becos they can aggresively dump capacity especially since O-D demand is considerably weak.

but hardly anyone would fly between Taiwan and South East Asia with CN carriers or whether CN carriers can sell such flights..

I always thought there are limited flights between Taiwan and Mainland China and should only serve as O-D only.

How do CN carriers compete with MH?

Many people in Taiwan just don’t like to fly airlines from China (including myself), so it doesn’t make much sense to compare the fares of MH and Chinese airlines.
