KUL to USA (eg: JFK) NH/UA Business Class (P) Return USD$2.4k
Metal is ANA in this example. Can fly on UA metal. Can connect to other US cities.
JFK seems to be cheapest. The Room
3 stops permitted in each direction, 1 free.
Book by 12Feb24
Travel dates available until 31Dec24
two samples attached below

I booked one way fare for $1500ish to JFK. I would book r/t but it seems return leg gotta be under 30 days so couldn't book r/t but thought OW deal is good and able to experience ANA room without worrying about find unicorn award space
Look like gotta find transit hotel or just gotta camp in lounge if it open 24 hours. Not sure if 5 AM departure from KL Sentral is sufficient enough for departure time at 7:15 AM.

Good if people can make it work. But it brings its own set of challenges with immigration, baggage, customs, and getting from NRT to HND.

Immigration , baggage and customs are no issue if you have nothing to hide; however I have done NRT-HND same day transits at least a dozen times - taking the lovely airport limousine bus when I am feeling rich and lazy or opting for the local train (even during crowded peak hours with a suitcase) which gives you great people-watching opportunity.

Not everyone may have the same smooth experience as you.

Fare looks to be available on NH-ticket as well for the price.
Annoying thing is the max 2 months, I wanted a longer period in the US.

I haven't tried it, but the fare rules appear to allow for a stopover in Japan without a HIP check. Nice fare to bundle together for a holiday in Tokyo.

Booked one of these for June 2023, $2,400 USD on NH 205-ticket. Thanks OP.
I had trouble booking a stopover on NH site. While I was able to get the right price, the 1st segment KUL-TYO always defaulted to Y class (instead of P). I encountered the same issue with another NH ex-Asia ticket last year.
In the end I booked a 30h layover in TYO, enough to eat and do some shopping. KUL-NRT//HND-JFK-HND-KUL
