QR/AA Jakarta-NYC 1800 USD OW in J
Hi,
just stumbled upon this. 1800 USD oneway from CGK to New York via Doha. Tickets on AA. You can route via MIA to get QR metal on the DOH to US flight. Maybe this is useful for someone here. Not a bad price for a OW flight.

This has been about $2k when purchased on AA website and all flights were on QR. This new option is $200 less with the connecting flight to JFK on AA instead of QR. You'd need to decide if QSuites and on-demand dining are worth $200.

Singapore Airlines available certain dates eg September 13th for a similar price. That fare allows a stopover in Singapore, whilst I couldn't price in a stopover with this fare. Shame as £2200 round trip with a stopover in Doha would have suited me perfectly.

I have flown the DOH to CGK 4 times this past 4 months; all on different configurations (Q suite, 787, 777; but all 1-2-1 config). Soft services are the same. As a frequent AA flier that can sleep soundly on AA's 787 and 777, and I actually prefer the non Q suite configuration for sleeping on Qatar Airways. Just something about the Q Suite footwell and having broad shoulders that is not as comfortable. The entertainment screen is much bigger on the Q suites.
