Sv/rj tun-bkk j ~1100-1500usd rt

Starting in April, Saudia has some nice fares to BKK from TUN. Some dates are as low as 1085USD RT, most are a tad over 1100USD but almost all are under 1200USD. However, there is a 9hr layover in both directions in JED. RJ also has deals on the route, albeit is a few hundred more expensive, but most fares are under 1500USD. No flat beds on the TUN-AMM sector, and some returns require a 19hr layover

Hi again Coder33..

You need mileage xp run ?

Yes you will have this sample and you could book on SV official web site for 1008... BUT :
-you have 10h night long layover in JED on your outward flight
-you have only 2 hours in MNL to take your inbound

Good flights...

SV stopped selling biz class tickets ex TUN for the Summer timetable. The TUN-JED flight was switched to an A300 with economy only configuration. Passengers booked in biz were downgraded to economy. So check your itineraries.

A300 are they leasing from Iran ? (Would be interesting to see considering political conflict)

There must be some sort of error - the only remaining 11 passenger versions in operation are all in Iran, and for obvious reasons any sort of dealings with Iran is out of the question: https://simpleflying.com/airbus-a300-rare/

The Saudis do what they want in case you havent noticed - they are obviously cutting ties to the US and want to get into the BRICS inner circle. So they could not care less - although they were never friends with Iran on the other hand side

Now, thats weird. All historic Saudi A300s are scrapped. The only ones in service in Iran have a 2-4-2 all economy configuration, unlike the 3-4-3 displayed on Saudia's website. It had always been operated by the old Saudi Arabian A330s with the recliner business class seats. If the flight is indeed operated by an A300, I might book this one to check this aircraft type off the list as well.

Not everyday in 2023 that you get to fly an A300

Well, not unless you want to sit in cargo with UPS or FedEx.

I flew one years ago with AA on JFK-SJU. Even in the mid-00s that thing was showing its age.

SV starts flying A330 on that route again in September - so you can book the fares later this year.
