Oneworld : SYD - SCL $2,128 RT Business

- rare deals for Down Under (though some South America deals appeared in April/May)

- Chile re-opens for all nationalities on Monday (negative COVID test required)

- now it's up to the AU government to provide exit permits to 'citizens'

But the flights operated by LATAM (outbound via AKL) would give you Delta miles...

Image has QF 27 SYD-SCL
QF have stated they will not be flying long haul international until mid-late 2021 at best. Most QF B787's are parked in the desert
For some markets---> https://www.executivetraveller.com/n...o-october-2021

<snip>
Qantas had previously removed long-range international flights through to March 2021; today's changes to the airline's reservation system provide further insight into Qantas' expected 'go' and 'no-go' zones for 2021. Johannesburg and Santiago have also been pulled from the schedule.

LATAM is still a ff partner on many OW airlines. But not AA

However, Google tries to book you on the LA806 codeshare. While QF27 appears to have been cancelled (or at least unavailable on QF's website), the LA806 codeshare for the same flight is still available on LA's website. This creates problem for potential customers.

LA800/QF321 is offered for sale on both LA's and QF's websites.

But would Latam codeshare on Qantas metal credit to any programmes other than LA and QF? Doesn't it need to be either LA code on LA metal or LA code on your FFP's metal to credit? And flights under LA code don't count toward status, do they?
