Sure, this makes sense on routes when you actually see a sub-$2k fare for all-biz; then it's a no brainer. But when do you ever see a Skyteam all-biz fare out of MSP for under $2k? For me, that answer is never.

How's it like being based in MSP though? Like do you reposition to Canadian origins frequently to fly all biz from there?

At the time of writing, yes - now they are about $2100 on Sky or sub 2K (non Sky) from multiple cities (IAH, MIA, LAX, DFW, ...) to multiple European cities (FRA, BCN, MAD, VIE, ...) few slots in April, plenty in August.

Yes, definitely have to re-position on outbound (pay myself) because work won't pay ~$3-$4k for a business class flight. And sometimes do throwaway returns through MSP to make it work. But that comes with another set of risks.

I was able to book SEA-ZRH RT in PS on Delta recently for $1K. If I wanted to position to JFK, I saw mixed itineraries with PS/D1 for $1500. Was looking at dates in mid-April.
