Be nice if OW matches, often do after a day or two.

Thanks, as always, for posting

Hello
First time posting but Flyertalk has been my go-to for air travel offers and advice for years. I'm keen on taking this offer with Star Alliance Paris to Miami for New Year for me and kids, and to try to get status on Star Alliance (through Aegean). However, most offers on Skyscanner go to Expedia to book. If I may ask the experts two questions 1. If I book through United airlines site, a flight with an Air Canada flight number do the Star Alliance status miles get counted from the United table (since booked through United) or from the Air Canada table (since has an AC flight number) . 2. Does one still collect miles the same way even when booking e.g. through a 3rd party site like Expedia?
thank you very much everyone, I appreciate the help.

Great prices!

Looking for a EUR to Montreal flight from 3-6 April to 24-26 April. Sadly this deal does not work for me. Hoping for another offer that includes the whole of April.

On Star Alliance the metal is what matters. So you get earning based on the fare bucket of the operating airlines. The amount of miles this represent is dependent of the frequent flyer program you are registered into.
Booking via Expedia does not change anything.

THANKS Fransknorge. Still not understanding completely though. If Expedia is showing this below doesn’t that mean that I won’t get any Star Alliance miles because its booking with the Lufthansa flight number in P class which gives no miles? It doesn’t show an Air Canada flight number.
  • Pearson (YYZ)
    To :
    Roissy-Charles de Gaulle (CDG)
  • Lufthansa 6825 operated by Air Canada
  • BOEING 787-9
  • Business (P)

What matters on *A is the operating airline.
Here it is AC.
Assuming that P class on LH maps to P class on AC, you would earn 200% on A3.
