Is there any way to route using AA transcons for more TPs?
For example, INV-LHR to MIA/JFK/PHL/IAD then on the AA transcon to LAX/SFO/SEA?

Thanks

How did you get to 103,347 miles? Based on my calculations I am getting just over 59k.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand it's gone. I made it all the way to the final booking page with LHR-SEA-LHR-EDI in F, tried two different Visa cards for payment (one of which was a Chase BA Visa) but the website kept rejecting it with a "we seem to be having trouble" error message. I was watching the fares on ITA matrix and saw them disappear just a few seconds before I hit the payment button. Took screenshots, not sure if I will pursue it. Interestingly, the First class fares were adding 678 GBP in taxes after the total was calculated, so I changed it to Business class which came to $1500 less and included the 678 GBP
tax. Also tried it through the CHase BA10 website and got absolutely nowhere. Thanks to the OP though, it was worth a shot.

UPDATE - fares came back about twenty minutes later but booking now rejects with "this page is not available" messages.
Also, I select First Class and it changed to Business Class. Squirrely programming!

Anybody have any suggestions for places to stay near INV? Is it worth it to wander off the airport with a day or two?

I think in winter months I'd back to back the day before the long haul and over night at Heathrow (unless local and then your own bed!) if the INV gets delayed / cancelled at least you're still at base
