Air NZ Business Auckland London $4699 NZ one way

This is a good sale from Air NZ Auckland to London via LA $4699 NZ as normal fares are over $8000 NZ

NZ$4699 is the one way fare that is being quoted. The return fare is over NZ$9,600!

I hate when they advertise the fares this way, but it is common practice these days.

Is it not illegal in NZ to advertise something you cannot buy? A bit like a supermarket advertising half a Mars bar and hiding in the fine print that they don't sell halves.

You can in fact buy AKL/LHR one way at this price, so it is not illegal advertising.
