TK AMS - BKK in business for €1626 (£1407)

Not sure if this was picked up or counts as a good offer, but definitely looks good price.
TK : AMS - BKK via IST (also can add few days stopover at IST) business class both legs with A330 for €1626 (return).
Dates widely open, cheapest in the middle of the week. GF lists the fares and can book directly with TK. This is great to try the new TK lounge at new IST.

A yorkshire friend did this to BKK last year. His summary was "bloody crap", he said the seats were old style business class, and he had a pop at the what he called the silly chef for the microwave pasta slop.

Any idea if its an improvement this year?

I flew TK to/from BKK last year too and it was pretty good, save the EU <-> IST route that were certainly crap (economy seats with middle seat emptied in BC cabin). However, IST <-> BKK even though it was old style 2-2-2 (for solo travelers might have a hassle sitting with stranger but I always fly duo) but I would say it was good still and would not mind flying again

*So much food in one flight!

Are you sure your friend travelled with TK? It doesn't sound like the usual solid TK biz class experience.

As mentioned A330/300 both segments 2--2-2
I fly the same regularly to BRU, IST-BRU on A320/A321 2-2 excellent 3.30h flight
Ex BKK always more expensive (150€+)
I prefer 1-2-1 (who does not?) but food is a feast if you like 2h meals and cabin too hot.
TK seems to be the only airline offering sub 2000€ fares BKK-eur since a few years
Will fly BKK-IST-BRU in a few days and visit the new biz lounge (5900sqm) TK as an identical second 5900 sqm lounge for *A Y gold pax.
They will open an executive 1800 sqm lounge in a few months reserved for TK elites biz pax, hope this will be open for my next aug-sept trip.
(I paid 1775€ for the next BKK-BRU trip, 1640€ last year trips, fares do increase)
