QF/HA : SYD -> HNL for $2,300 AUD in J roundtrip
Spotted on flights:
https://www.google.com/flights?lite=...8*2.CAD.222178
Only seems to work ex-SYD (not other way around). Availability is pretty wide (including the winter months of June, July, August). I reckon this is a good deal given NZ charges north of 4 grand for their shorter flight out of AKL. Can't comment on the quality of HA international J but suspect it should be good given flights lists lie flat seating. It may also be possible to credit the miles to a relevant program (read: Virgin Australia).
G'day,
James

Got tickets for 2 on QF BNE-SYD-HNL (6 week stay)
HNL-SYD (1 week stopover)
SYD-BNE
for $2390 pp which seems pretty good given that QF charges around $800 in business just for the SYD-BNE flight!
Thanks for posting j2simpso

Just booked MEL-SYD-HNL / HNL-SYD-MEL for myself + wife + 18 month old child.
~$5400 in total (including about ~$400 in taxes for the little one)
Pretty happy with that, and very much looking forward to it.

Thanks for posting the update. I used this fare last year but this iteration seems to have woeful availability for the return. The fare rules state valid for 12 months , outbound by Mar 24 but I could find zero I bucket availability from April through July on the HNL-SYD sector
