Nice find. First Class is actually 350% on Alaska.

True. However only the first 350% are Elite Qualifying.

Since this is a new route it’s hard to say. But with th AS bonus and the AMEX discount for the Business Platinum this sounds like a decent deal.

Don't you need to be departing from the US to take advantage of the Amex & Emirates promotions? Both the International Airline Program and the $1000 off F tickets require originating in the US.
Or is there a 3rd promo I am missing?

Yes the Amex IAP only applies to US departure and some Canadian gateways.
