Also available from Gothenburg (GOT) at 1412€ and Stockholm (ARN) at 1415€.
Does anyone know if BA have first class on any of the LHR-BKK flights during this period? Im tempted to to spend some avios on upgrades using this deal if possible.

Available from AMS at a similar price which allows to route via KUL/SIN/HKG for extra TPs and to allow upgrades to F on the long haul sections.

No not on BA9 to BKK. You'll have to route through SIN, HKG, KUL - in which case you get more TPs to start and far more likely to find F reward seats into 2019. Check there is Reward space before booking, then call up and Upgrade Using Avios
