BA MUC-HRB Business $2300 Harbin Ice and Snow World 2019

This years I went in January to Harbin, the northern Chinese City to visit the amazing and impressive Harbin Ice and Snow World. I found a great offer from BA just 3 weeks before departure for € 1770.

I checked today and even booking it in advance is available for a good price of € 2023 which are 2370 USD. Good availability in Jan/Feb 2019

The complete segments are MUC-LHR-PVG-HRB-PVG-LHR-MUC.
BA services Shanghai with 777 and 787. While we all know that BA's C class is ridiculously sub par I was able to get a window seat during the return flight on a 787.

Departing flight Tue, Feb 12
  1. 10:50 AM Munich Airport MUC, Travel time: 2h 10m, Airbus A320, BA 949
  2. 1:45 PM, London Heathrow Airport LHR, Travel time: 11h 25m, Boeing 777, BA 169
  3. Shanghai Pudong International Airport PVG, Travel time: 3h 0m, Airbus A320, CZ 6258
Returning flight Sun, Feb 17
  1. 8:00 PM, Harbin Taiping International Airport HRB, Airbus A320, CZ 6209
  2. 1:55 AM+1, Shanghai Pudong International Airport PVG, Boeing 777, BA 160
  3. 8:55 AM+1, London Heathrow Airport LHR, Airbus A319, BA 950
You get 440 Tier Points as even the segments with China Southern are marketed as BA flights
-- > Marketed as BA 949, BA 169, BA 2008, BA 2009, BA 160, BA 950

Yes, but ex Munich you hardly find business class deals below 2k.
