KIX-SIN SQ 787-10 in Business: JPY 83,800 RT
Great promotion for scoring 787-10 (starting 3/May only) in business class. Only at JPY 83,880 or USD 780 at current exchange rate. All inclusive.
*Book by 31/March
*Travel period: 1/April ~ 31/May (Japan Inbound must be completed by 14/June)
*Minimum stay: 2 days (technically as short as 24 + 8:45hrs)
*Only valid for SQ619 & SQ618
*Black-out period: 28/April ~ 3/May Japan outbound only
*Booking class D - 125%~200% earning rate on many FFPs, and as much as 325% on AS "MVP Gold 75K" members (according to wheretocredit.com)

Damn... I was hopeful to try to tack this onto my 2 week Asia itinerary but the dates that I'm going to be there coincide with the blackout period :/

Worse than their own long haul product for sure, but given that they are all aisle access lie flats they are better than the old SQ regional products and even the long haul product of many mainstream airlines!

Horrible? Really? Haven't flown CX but SQ A330's angled flat seat is really comfortable and well made. I think it's quite fantastic for short/medium haul (slept really well on an overnight flight).

I haven't tried SQ regional J (though from pics it doesn't look any promising taking into account that regional could be 6-7-8 hours), but CX regional J is horrible. It's the evil mix between a simple recliner and a slippery slope angle flat. It's not remotely flat, but you keep sliding down . Doubling with pathetic regional J catering I was really disappointed.
