Smile Aa: Sfo-mxp, pe, $1004

Unfortunately it doesn't help with EQD, but a pretty great mileage run:
https://goo.gl/flights/LfJBz
13,500 actual miles, 20K EQM
When I clicked through to AA it brought me to the home page, but the flights appear to be bookable - I chose the same flights at AA and priced out at $1004. Have not found a way to get this pricing with AAVacations.

Exploring on Google flights, also found MIA-PEK for $1250: https://goo.gl/flights/SN7Bs
Seems to be a sale on premium economy at a fraction of the cost of other airlines. Apologies if this is mentioned elsewhere.

For a mixed Y/PE booking like this, does the whole itinerary earn EQMs at the PE rate or only the actual int'l PE legs?

Could you confirm the dates? If it's possible to book through BA then EQDs would be pretty high for the itinerary.

You earn for the booking code of each leg. Some of these PE fares allow the economy portion to book into Y or B codes, others into a lower earning code.

I'm seeing a K code for the domestic portions on AA.

...and it looks gone.

Well, AA.com is up to its old tricks. Its not showing the cheap price when selected the outbound leg, but drops when selecting the return. Find your flights with matrix or google flights and then pick the same ones on AA.com

I was mostly looking out of my own self-interest and less maximizing miles.

MIA also pairs with Madrid (seeing fares as low as $760 on certain dates) so that's another option.
