ZEEEVH0E is technically a JJ fare in Z, so slightly different earnings from LA: Where to Credit | Where to Credit TAM Linhas Aéreas Flights in Z Booking Class

Sample:

Great fare but it shows booking code Z (not J) which would be 20% EQD on American. Did you manage to get it priced in J somewhere else?

No, sorry, I think I meant it as "J" as in business, but it is actually Z class. I fixed the verbiage. Thanks

225% on AS, pretty sweet.

I scored an AM J error fare to UIO, and I've been trying to find the cheapest way to position from UIO to GRU. Here are searches I've done:
* 25K Avios +$130 BOG-GRU round trip in Y with ok availability in Apr, seems to be the cheapest option. With this option though, with a Canadian passport, I get dinged twice around $60 each time I enter Colombia? Thank god I already have a visa to Brazil. It seems like Latam doesn't fly non stop from either UIO nor GYE to GRU? Either way, with a connection at LIM for 60k Avios $3xx, forget it.
* Revenue J tix UIO/GYE/BOG/LIM-JNB $4k+, out of question.
* Expedia package deal similar price as above, GRU-JNB a lot more expensive than this sale price.
* AA Vacation doesn't allow me to enter 'GRU'.
* Revenue Y tix UIO (and other cities near by) -GRU $600+, not cheap.
* Delta.com shows error on miles.
* AA.com shows error as well.

Do you have any other suggestions on positioning from UIO to GRU?

By the way, Y price GRU-JNB is even less than half the price of J.

this doesn't earn on Alaska FYI:
Eligible flight numbers
  • 1–1343
  • 1400–1943
  • 2000–2943
  • 4000–4943

LATAM 8162 and LATAM 8163

Still it's a great fare.

They obviously haven't updated since they changed the name, but you're probably correct. My motivation has gone off the cliff.

I'll be checking next a few days if they extend the sale fare for UIO departures.

That's a great fare! The Brazilian travel blogs were all going crazy about this deal today.

Ps: with this fare it's possible to fly the codeshare flight operated by South african on their A330, which is way better than latam's plane

Greetings fellow mileage enthusiast! IMHO, if you fly JJ you can credit to any one world under the JJ designation. If you fly SAA, then it's star alliance. Please someone correct me if I have this wrong, as I am seriously thinking of going from GRU-JNB solely for the 20% Elite Qualifying Dollars you get with mileage on AA (which is a lot more than if you purchased an AAA ticket0-the beauty of buying a good priced ticket in business and crediting it to AA, it's Mileage for ED$ - as well as Emiles.) .

I have the same doubt. The golden rule for Star used to be the metal you fly - at least when that was a reason to give less or no miles to customers...

I guess the issue here will be to ask for credits using a JJ number of flight (even flying on SA metal, I guess tickets and boarding pass will show a JJ flight, not a SA). As for TK, they are still connected of a sorts with JJ, but I think it would require some debate with people in Istanbul to accept it as a flight that would give you status miles.
