Matrix links don't work, you would need to link to Google Flights.

Even though the operated flight is by Air China on long haul, the actual fare is TAP Portugal's.

According to the fare/routing rules, only routing via Roma, Milano, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, München Madrid or Genève this cheap fare will apply.

Beware TP short haul flights in J; these often come without any on board service. I'd suggest connecting in MAD to make the miserable TP experience as short as possible.

See for example this review: http://onemileatatime.boardingarea.com/2017/07/22/tap-portugal-business-class-a321-review/

This is CA on long-haul, which isn't much better.

You can book a one way fare in a higher fare bucket on TAP's website (see "Top Executive" fare) for ~USD900 for this flight, which seems to have no penalty at all for any changes or cancellations. Interesting...

And if you want to avoid TAP's flight, it's possible to book a itinerary like this: LIS-FRA on LH, FRA-PEK on CA. Fare would be the same.

Quality of service - I'd pick TP over LH for intra-EU J.
