Thanks!

No, because BA sees WT+ as a premium cabin already. It'll be maybe $79pp e/w.

The jump from CW to F, if applicable, would incur zero tax/fees.

It also depends on origin and destination. For example, LHR-CAI upgrade from WT+ to CW is 11,250 Avios and £14.30pp e/w (about $19).

Are you sure about that? Looking at ITA, the surcharge difference is more in the 100s.

On the LHR-ORD leg it was very cheap to upgrade (24/K Avios and a few euro's). The DFW-MAD leg is on AA and I don't think they will release upgrade space in advance. But if they do, I think I'll have to pay significant more euro's to upgrade. Not sure about that though.

Just pick some dates with Google Flights. Then go to BA and make a multi city search. Play around a little bit with the flights an you'll find the route.

The Economy legs on AA can also be booked in B Class.

Was a guess amount, as it's £50 different.

Example WT+ vs CW costings via Avios on same flight attached.

EDIT: note that the full upgrade, including CE from GOT-LHR, would cost more. That's prob where I've made a calculation error.

I've found a routing which includes a MIA-LAX flight listed as Premium Economy. Is this main cabin extra? How many tier points would it earn?
