Yes, true for Auckland, but I thought the last 2 QR sales the tickets to Syd/Mel were quite expensive, at least a few hundred pounds more than this one.

i'm not sure which last sales you refer to, since qr has certain promos at least every quarter, my last 2 trips to oz with qr were well bellow 1300 eur, from Arn and zrh last year

I guess that the fare basis D3CPWB is only available through Singapore Airlines thus you need to book your itinerary either on Singapore Airlines website or by calling them.

Just booked ARN-SIN / SIN-AKL / CHC-SIN-ARN for £1750, all on SQ except SIN-AKL on NZ.
Who knows how to find the NZ PNR? The one I got from SQ doesn't work on their website!
Very pleased though. I hovered over it for days then bit the bullet. The 45,000 Eurobonus points I'll earn should help take the edge off the cost.

Many thanks OP great to see the deal is still there, not much left for SYD but plenty for BNE.
Have booked thru OPODO.SE where it was cheaper than singaporeair.com for our preferred routing via FRA departing ARN in the afternoon on LH - rather than early morning Y-only SAS flights to CPH, FRA or ZRH that the SQ site wanted us to take.
But the 7-day view on the SQ site was essential for planning.
ARN-FRA-SIN-BNE in Oct, BNE-SIN-DME-ARN in May, total 21,217 SEK pp that's $2,500
