- It seems HRG is now pricing the same as other EG airports

- books into K (100%-150% credit)

Are all these cheap Egypt fares a function of nobody wanting to go there? Or has Egypt always been cheap ?

always been cheap. Reason being, low passenger numbers in recent years due to the revolution and turmoil, as well as local currency devaluation.

Egypt's tourism has taken a hit, but the devaluation of the EGP is the biggest issue.

Flew HRG-IST-HRG last month and both flights were packed in both classes to my surprise. For those interested a note of caution, no lounge facilities at HRG.
