On the routing LHR - MAD - TFS - BA Executive Club members would earn 40 Tier Points per sector for Business Class (booking into fare classes; R, I, J, C or D)
Looks like a cheap way to earn 160 TP's

I should add that I have done this route many times in Business and have always earned a total of 160 TP's for a return 4 sector trip.

Start and end from JER for an additional 80 TPs - lots of available dates at £438 which would bring the TP ratio down to £1.83/TP.
(However, unless you have business in Jersey, you should in all honesty also account for £35 + 9000 Avios for positioning flights, which would take the total to £473 or £1.97/TP)

BA TP while booked through IB?
I'd like to take advantage of these Business Promotional fares on IB, but I want the TP on my BA account. The promotional fares aren't available on the BA site.
Can this be done? It's implied in the thread, but I don't know how to do it.

You don't need to book on the BA site to earn TPs and avios. As long as you enter your BAEC number in the reservation, it will credit to your BAEC account regardless of where you purchased your ticket from (and welcome to FT, by the way !)

The LA ZEEEV209 and IEEEV209 tarifs ex TXL and FRA should be mentioned when discussing this. It's TFN/AGP/VLC/... as destination and not TFS but it can be routed on LA FRA-MAD for 140TP per direction.
It's been discussed ad nauseam on German VFT (http://www.vielfliegertreff.de/first...0-eur-r-t.html) and I believe it's been mentioned here as well.

You could do: JER-LGW-MAD(overnight layover)-TFN(same day turnaround)-VLC(overnight layover)-LGW-JER, totalling 240TP for $395.
Obviously not including the hotel costs and overall longevity.
Add in the LON-JER (paid) r/t and you could add another 10/80TP depending on the booking.
Not much ground time (pretty much sleep in MAD, morning in VLC), but an easy 250TP+ earning for a weekend for £320/€340/$395.
