100% of miles flown + elite bonus

So 16,700+bonus for YUL-LHR-MAA; 25,450+bonus for YYZ-LAX-LHR-MAA

How are you getting this to price out, Multi-City search on the AA or BA website?

You may search on ITA and book on priceline, but remember that you will pay Priceline a booking fee.

BA multi city also works, but you must add YYZ-LAX, LAX-YYZ as separate segments, and select the flight that is the nonstop AA flight (marketed by BA) on the BA tool.

If you do a multi-city premium economy search on ITA, the YYZ-LAX legs default to domestic F and the fare goes to well over $3000. My guess is to price it in ITA properly you would have to do specific fare classes.

When you run it on BA.com with those exact dates and flights it prices out for me at $3,000 CAD, not $2,000.

About 1600 USD from JFK on BA to MAA - pretty darn cheap. and obviously chase and AARP apply!

Can someone provide a few breadcrumbs on how the AA credit works on this? Would like to book this, just want the EQM / RDM earnings to be right. Thanks.

Only if it's full-fare WT+ (fare class W); this probably isn't. And if it were you'd also get a 10% bonus on the RDM.
