Nice find - add IAD to the list too which is easy for East Coast positioning flights.

This is a great fare - 6.3cpm while earning nearly 20,000 EQM running through MSP to DEN both ways.

How would one position to take advantage of this fare if you were US Based? Would you have to buy another fare to get to HND, then nest the full J ex-NRT inside the HND positioning flight?

I'd be all over this if it was ex-USA..

Pricing incomprehensible

Nice find. HND/SFO has intermediate stop at LAX, but HND/LAX reprices to $3.8K. HND/IAD prices out at $1.6K and has intermediate stop at JFK, but HND/JFK reprices to US$3.5K. RT basis. And one can't forego the LAX/SFO leg of the HND/SFO outbound leg, because if so doing, the rest of itinerary cancelled.

Maddening if one wishes to do HND/LAX or HND/JFK.

$1250 is not bad for a one-way to LAX if you want to ditch the rest of the itinerary

These non-US flights can be useful to pair with award flights too. If you have enough lead time (or if fare has a long enough max stay which some do) it can be the return from one vacation/trip and the start of the next some months later - with a single award RT on either end.

I do that frequently ex-Asia, but with this one it's not all that practical unless you have 2 vacations scheduled in a month. The return on this fare must be flown within a month as pointed out up thread.
