My thoughts exactly. But should we be concerned with QR or AA clawing back the EQM's?

Good find OP, I really want to do this but can only do it OW since the max stay is 30 days. The fact no wifi on the DOH-LAX and positioning cost on both ends is a deal breaker

It is a routing fare not a MPM fare, so you are stuck with specified routings...

Code:
BKK-LAX WED-19OCT16 QR
TAXES/FEES NOT INCLUDED
ADULT FARES
CX FARE FARE C AP MIN/ SEASONS...... MR GI D
           USD BASIS MAX
 13 QR 886.00R RLTHP1NE R 7/1M 10JAN -23MAR R AT

SPECIFIED ROUTE: 4545
BKK-DOH(QR/AA)LAX
The fare rules also specify:
Code:
THE FARE COMPONENT MUST BE ON
ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING
ANY QR FLIGHT OPERATED BY QR.

Doubt that would be a problem as your EQM's are distance based. Even where the fare based items are calculated-not on QR obviously as it would need to be an AA segment-it does not claw back for dropped segments since you'll only get the flown segment's credit.

Only too well, supported many of the small TA's that had some great private deals. Even the AY office on Silom had better business fares than their website.

This is a QR only fare. How would you expect to route through Europe when QR only flies to LAX nonstop from DOH and has no intermediate European routings to the US, let alone LAX?

such an amazing fare but doesnt work for me. I can't get the return priced out far enough - for instance, the april flight is fine but would return in August. Just doesnt' work :-( This is an epic fare though. ANd $4600 EQD on AA.

Max stay 30 days makes this tough.

Suggests this is not in fact cancellable, which is why I haven't bought it. What's telling you otherwise?

EDIT: Went through the checkout myself like KenGreen888 and the fare rules do include a cancellation fee of USD$150
