OMAN J special fares till end May
Nothing special for others I guess, but for us out of SIN or KUL I see fares of around USD1,850 to CDG/FRA. Fares valid until end May.

Cheap ex-KUL/SIN fares have 1 month max stays. Would have booked them if not!
Same product as JAL Sky Suites 777 and new 787-9, and KAL's 747-8i biz.

The airport is so old, but service is good. Oman lounge is decent. We travelled in J mct - sll - mct - mle...
Salalah Airport is new. Muscat has new terminal under construction..

Oman is a wonderful country, the best in the Gulf region, not bling bling like DXB AUH OR DOH.. genuine friendly people that you can interact with. this is reflected in their airlines as well. recent reviews of BZ class on WY has been great (One Mile at a time by Lucky).
It is not a dry airline, the lounge at MCT is not as glamorous as it sisters mentioned above but comparable to some of the asian capitals airport lounges
not saudia nor royal brunei nor egyptair!! the three dry airlines that I know of, there may be others

For those who need to book past end May, have a look at Vietnam Airlines. Slightly cheaper than Oman Air, taking their new A350 to CDG for around usd1450.
