The link provided to kayak.com shows the first flight (CMN-DOH) as a QR codeshare on Royal Air Maroc
Anyone crediting to Oneworld should ensure they are on the daily QR metal flight otherwise they will likely earn nothing from this flight
For instance for AAdvantage:
I think this is a very good fare, I was looking at CMN-ATL earlier this year and that was consistently around $3,300 return in J.

Yes you need to stay away from codeshares on Royal Air Maroc - but there are plenty of direct QR available for the same price.

I'm not sure why you should be concerned - it's a perfectly straightforward fare offered as "Business Promo" with very limited flexibility. As a promotional fare it's likely to come and go: regardless of the (probably small) numbers willing to spend 40 hours getting from Europe to the US through Casablanca and Doha.
QR has stiff competition carrying people across the Atlantic from Morocco: particularly with an extra day required to do it via Doha! So it's not surprising there's a measure of compensation for the inconvenience in a promotional fare.
But if you are concerned, bumping the thread back to to the top of the list with your comment probably wasn't the best thought out move

Beware of back-to-backs/nesting repositioning flights in CMN though, have been burned more than once with 3+ hours between two tickets (QR J going to AT positioning flight).
I reckon overnights in Casablanca are the way to easing anxiety Originally Posted by mattking2000

Makes an awfully long journey just a tad longer
- but doesn't cost a bundle, and the city can be fun.For years I happily budgeted 3 hours or so between flights at Milan to save money on longhaul trips: even thought i was being over-cautious. Until the unthinkable happened and my LHR MXP got cancelled. I learned!

It certainly is a beautiful city, but I'm not sure it eases anxiety! Getting to/from Casa Port can take anywhere from 45 minutes to upwards of three hours, and the lounge in CMN is not a place I'd want to spend 2+ hours in! Originally Posted by IAN-UK

Cheaper fare looks gone, now at 1.8k. Drats.
They don't need to incentivize anything, these are legacy fares and with the increasing alliance with RAM and RAMs increasing network, they can just stop publishing and selling these fares to the Americas..

Of course they can stop selling promotional fares whenever they wish. But they don't: they keep coming back.
These used to be regular fares and not promotional fares, used to vary on the booking classes. Since we are all at it and its a holiday season please save a few more dollars by open jawing within the north African destinations.
