AA: LAX-JFK transcon First $1199

Not exactly a MR deal, but an okay deal if you were going to book transcon J anyways (which is only $2 less than F).

Multiple dates but seems to favor Saturday departures/returns if you want the lowest fare -- else it clocks in around $1400.

Seems to work both directions. Sample

Edit: Books into P so 2.0 EQP (only the base 1.5 EQP may be used towards challenges); Currency Promotion means up to 24K/12K/6K non-elite bonus miles if you're EXP/Plat and Gold/Non-Status, respectively, roundtrip on top of the 50% class of service and elite mile bonuses. With the minimum stay it might be wise to do a nested trip like someone suggested.'

9.9K EQP, 4.95K EQM, up to 36.4K RDM round trip [calculation assuming EXP: 4.95(BASE)+2.475(COS)+4.95(ELITE BONUS)+24(CURRENCY)]

Is it a one way or round trip fare?

Seems like it's going against JetBlue's Mint fares again.

Yep. And unfortunately for AA, Mint is better than AA's transcon F in literally every way (with the exception of its obviously much more limited FF miles program).

AA F suite is for sure better for the 75% of Mint passengers not in one of the four suites

AA F flagship checkin/lounge is for sure better than the no lounge or special services on offer to Mint passengers

silly comment

I think this may qualify for the double EQPs iirc. Anyone know about this? If so it may be a great end of year run for me to get Platinum.

nice find. however it appears to have a minimum stay and is only permitted on Saturdays, so if you want to MR with it you have to do nested tickets as the fare rules require a round trip purchase.

Between DEQM and the Currency promotion, this is a really solid deal.

Agreed. This is only useful to gain AAdvantage EQM/EQP (the latter of which should be a decent amount with the currency promo). In literally any other case, I'd choose Mint every time.

Too bad this doesn't book into F class - would love some 3x EQPs. Still a pretty solid deal

Probably books into A or P fare code, which are only 2x EQP, and not full fare F, which would be 3x EQP. But you will be able to assign a seat after purchase in the first class cabin.

Just a point of clarification - it's double EQP, not EQM.

Mint has no lounge nor flagship checkin. Nor is a better hard product compared to AA 321T F if sitting in non-suites
