LAN: FRA-MAD C (787) €260 ai RT

Currently you can book the short segment from FRA-MAD in C for around 260 Euros r/t. LAN flies it's newest B787 on this route and you can expect international C class configuration. Thought it's worth to post.

Cheers

I could never get it under 350, where do you see 260?

I don't know, I think it is a pretty good price at 260. I would book it, for I need to go, but then I mostly only book these if actually need to go somewhere. Best booked on the airline's website or with an OTA?

I just stumbled upon this one without any own interest in it.

Best booked via OTA. I think several OTA's are offering this. You can look it up on momondo.de or kayak

Maybe interesting for Mileage runs.

At most it'd be interesting for EU-bound TP runs.

Looks like you need at least 2 nights for 271€. However, the reverse prices at around 249€ for 3 nights so nesting would be possible if you play around.

It totally works, for all the dates I checked (I will be having a 10 night stay, so no problem there). It's a real chance to try the 787 and because it's a two and a half hour flight, there will be time to enjoy some nice catering and the business seat. The only negative that I can see is the extremely late arrival into Madrid, somewhere between 10 and 11pm, allowing for fluctuations in the timetable.

Air Europa is coming out at EUR384 round trip, which actually is not excessively outrageous for a business fare. However, it's a bit over my budget, although it would be useful for my SkyTeam activities! But UX is really not a great carrier, sorry. LA I am sure will be fabulous.

it works, but only through OTAs.
If you include ticketing fees etc. the price is slightly higher, but still below 300€.
I booked a return ticket for the Easter weekend.

You mean directly on the travel page of the AMEX Germany website? Which FFP would be best to credit to? I guess BAEC because of the TPs, but I am tempted to put it on my airberlin TopBonus account.

It only yields 125% of the base miles so 2208(?) EQM I guess. That's roughly 8% towards OW ruby/sapphire. With BAEC it'd be like 26%.

Yes, in total (40+40). This is a decent TP run, but what makes it more compelling is the solid product itself.

Wow this is great for the combined kms plus biz segments for LANPASS. you can get OneWorld Emerald for 4 biz segments and 50,000kms (31000 miles)

Difficult with reduced earnings now on LAN's own flight numbers, but if you live in Europe and fly BA or IB premium cabins then it's a great deal

Are you sure that these segments count? LANPass seems to require that the segments in LAN/TAM J are longer than 1600 kms.

"Se considera clase superior a los vuelos en cabina Premium Business de LAN o TAM o Primera Clase de TAM de medio o largo alcance, cuya distancia sea mayor a 1.600 kms."
