i only see $2800 for the COS-MAD-COS routing. Also the international flights look like they are on the old configuration of the 757, so no true lay flat. Could not get the fares to work out of SJC/OAK

I don't believe that this is a refundable fare. That would be pretty remarkable if it were though. Also, I believe the change fee is $450.

ORIGINATING AREA 1 -
CANCELLATIONS
ANY TIME
TICKET IS NON-REFUNDABLE IN CASE OF CANCEL/NO-SHOW.
WAIVED FOR DEATH OF PASSENGER OR FAMILY MEMBER.
NOTE -
RESERVATION CANCELLED PRIOR TO THE ORIGINALLY
SCHEDULED FLIGHT RETAINS TICKET VALUE/LESS
APPLICABLE CANCELLATION FEE IN CHANGE PARAGRAPH UP
TO ONE YEAR FROM THE ORIGINAL DATE OF TICKET
ISSUE. IF THE TICKETED FLT RESERVATION IS NOT
CANCELLED PRIOR TO TICKETED FLT DEPARTURE TIME -
REBOOKING IS NOT PERMITTED AND TICKET HAS NO
VALUE.

CHANGES
BEFORE DEPARTURE
CHARGE USD 450.00/CAD 450.00.

These seem like pretty standard DL discount business class fare rules.

Skyteam has been great this year

Until this year, I would have jumped on prices like this. But having just snagged SFO-BCN-SFO in Z for $1600ai (KLM/Delta), a few weeks ago, anything above $1800 just doesn't look as exciting. But maybe those super-low prices were an aberration ... who knows if they'll come back.

Gosh, I hope it comes back. Though I would be happy to travel to Spain via economy (I'm not a snob), I would love even more to go in business. I missed the $1600ish West Coast-Spain Biz fares. I have a Camino to walk.
