  • Fare feels too good to be true? Don't call the airline!
  • Double-check that the fare is actually in Business or First as some online search engines or OTAs confuse booking classes on some airlines.
  • Post as much detail as possible about the First/Business fare, including: fare class, fare basis, one-way/round-trip, sales channel, sample dates and total price (including taxes).
  • When posting fare rules, please enclose them in a [COÐE][/COÐE] block. Note the use of the eth (Ð) instead of a capital D here to prevent the forum software from trying to insert an actual block. Be sure you use the capital D.
  • Refrain from posting fare requests or engaging in off topic debates such as fare trends, specific aircraft configuration or visa requirements
  • The deeply discounted international fares discussed here are almost always specific to a certain point of origin, and only very rarely work in reverse (e.g. a SFO-LHR-SFO fare usually won't work LHR-SFO-LHR). Domestic fares more commonly work in reverse.
  • Please include important information such as operating airline, fare classes, city pairs, etc. in the body of your post rather than the post title field as it is not visible to those reading FT on mobile devices. This is not the "trick it" thread. Please do not speak in code.
  • Please do not post large images. Not everyone has infinite resolution, and it makes the rest of the thread very difficult to read. If it's not important enough to type in, it's not important enough to be here.
  • Last but not least: don't call the airline!

Note: There is a known miscoding on ITA and elsewhere, where fares on EI (Aer Lingus) are showing as being in first class. This is not correct, as Aer Lingus does not offer first class. If you see this fare, please ignore it and do not post it here as it is completely unbookable in every sense of the term. The mods are summarily deleting these posts in order to unclutter the thread.

Note: There is a known miscoding on ITA and elsewhere, where Z fares on EY (Etihad) are showing as being in first class. This is not correct, as Z fares are discount business on EY. These fares will not receive chaffeur service. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/etihad-airways-etihad-guest/1622229-removal-chauffeur-service-some-business-class-passengers.html

List of known, active deals:

JNB-DXB-SFO in EK F, $4k-ish one-way
MLE-HKG-US (various) in C, $1400 +/- available only on CX's website.
CMB-MIA, other US cities, for about $4400 in F, round-trip/return

BA AARP $400 discount for J/F bookings is now valid again for booking until 31 Oct 2014 but departure to EOS seems to get the discount. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/british-airways-executive-club/1435816-ba-fare-discounts-aarp-4.html

Seems an excellent deal for peak period travel with reasonable connections and *A earning. Couldnt find availability on the TK website but persistence on cheaptickets worked ^
Worked as well from Stockholm for slight cheaper price 1728 usd.

There is an interesting fare on CX ex-Italy to Down-Under, booking in I class.

2938€ all-in, best availability ex-MXP, stopovers in HKG possible at 150 USD each.

Does only Show on CX Website or other OTAs, had some availabilities in July August, MXP-HKG-SYD//CNS-HKG-MXP.

BNE more difficult with availabilities.

Try the Norwegian website. My connecting flight MAN-OSL came in at a reasonable GB47.70ai one way..

FWIW this is a fairly standard P fare at least to FLL...

on the EY ex-CDG fares "first class upgrade" promo, J/C/D biz class fares book into R class inventory (ie First) but *only* on the CDG-AUH and AUH-CDG legs.

W (deepest discount biz) fares don't seem to have this provision and so seemingly are excluded from this promo.

Thanks, but when I looked there fares until the end of July were £300+

AND required a night in Oslo (or at the airport!). I checked again, and see the fares come off the boil in mid-August.

When I needed to go to OSL for such a ticket I used some miles with FB that weren't very usefull otherwise. But if you need to buy a ticket your are normally right, often expensive.

OMAN AIR has a promo from CDG till July 25 to destinations such as KUL (2293€) CMB (2168€) and most interestingly BKK (1704€)
Widely available till December
I booked second week of December, did not try early 2015.

Excellent value considering the high quality of the Business class on WY.

Also available in F to Seattle AND SFO through end of schedule - ~3600USD one-way from CPT through DXB, and ~5400USD R/T.

SFO = A380
SEA = 77W

Not bad!

I wonder if this is a coincidence. A regular RT in F on EK for those city pairs is about 57,000AED, and this is showing about 57,000ZAR, for about 1/3 the price.

TUN-JNB for £840 a.i. return in J with both *A (MS) and ST (SV)

While those fares are typically offered ex-CAI, Egypt is both expensive to get to from most of Europe, quite far, and still instable. By contrast, TUN is very easy and cheap to reach from much of Europe notably France, Italy, Belgium, Spain, etc. and the place is quiet enough for it to be easy to plan to stay a night or two before or after if desired. Neither airline is great, but they do credit to Skyteam (SV) and Star Alliance (MS) respectively. Ample dates from September onwards.
