When Americans start worrying about far more real car accidents than mythical terrorists, that is when the elected, appointed and/or career officials in the US government will start to rationally assess risks and learn to just deal with terrorism as a nuisance that can be managed to a reasonable degree but never fully eliminated. Only then can the nuisance that is the TSA be managed to a reasonable degree, which may even include its being fully eliminated.

Maher always talks a good game, but when the interviewee is actually in front of him, he becomes a kiss-a**. For further reference, see his interview with Joe the Plumber several weeks back.

You know he says that - if Obama told you he was a conservative democrat would you believe him? Maher is barely a libertarian. Just because you say one thing doesn't mean it's true.

You mean like when the TSA says that "your safety is our priority?"

One would have thought this was learned after the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand, heir to Austria-Hungary throne.
