Shanghai
All arrivals into Shanghai (PVG) are subject to a check once the plane parks up at the gate (some chinese airlines will check before landing as well).
You're all kept on the plane whilst folks in bio-suits come on a measure every single passenger's forehead temp with an IR scanner. If they find some high readings they'll recheck with several scanners, including standard mercury thermometers. It'll delay you a good hour if someone's found to be a bit higher.
Most folks in Asia will wear masks when travelling on planes now (not because they're infected)....they're taking precautions and I know a lot of us westerners s...... at such a sight. With SARS hitting the region a few yrs back I can understand the screening methods. I know most of you will probably think it's OTT but hey, what's the harm!

July 11: Arrival at ICN - handed over completed health survey/declaration form just outside the jetway. Quick temperature measure tool held near the left side of neck. Off I went. 10 seconds max.
And definite thermal imaging as we headed towards immigration or international transfers.

Arrival in GRU from EZE
Health-inspection forms handed out on JJ flight and warnings given - this seems to be new. Checks were most likely made at immigration and as I was in intl transit, nothing for me. Typical Brazilian: As long as it doesn't affect us, that is fine...
