Illogical. If the backs of the hands are sufficient to screen for some parts of the body and/or for some inter-gender interactions, then they should be used for all parts and interactions.

Disgusting.

There's less an ability to feel, which is quite important while doing a pat-down. However, because there is less an ability to feel, it's considered less invasive for patting down sensitive areas of the body, regardless of the loss of screening efficiency.

They would probably use their tongues if they were allowed to.:p

Now, now, Island Based... you know as well as I do that using the BACK of the hand adds immeasurably to the dignity and respect of a public frisk during an unwarranted search by these Mother Helpers.

I, for one, appreciate their efforts to avoid affrontery to the people still idiotic enough to line up and bend over for them. It's so hard to provide afFRONTery to someone's backside...

A lexicon of manners during a public shakedown?

Good lord! Unbelievable!!!!
