Help! Name cut off on ticket

I've read through the other threads on name issues, and nobody mentioned a name being cut off. An online travel agency combined my full first name, first middle name and part of my second middle name as one and then my last name to look like this:

Ticket: JohnQuincyAd, Public
Passport: John Quincy Adams Public
DL: Public, John Quincy A

I have been on the phone with the airline, on the phone with the online agency, I even personally went out to the airport and nobody expects any problems, but will TSA have a problem?

I have no work right now, this is for a long term job in Alaska and its vital that there are no delays in my arrival, I don't want to take any chances; the trip is still a month away and I am so tired of worrying about it. Just as I was contemplating the purchase of a brand new ticket, I stumbled on these forums, thank you is all I can say!

P.S. This whole ordeal has really turned me off to booking online with independent agencies. If the airline could not fit the whole name, the online agency should have provided that information. Better yet, the airline informed me that they don't even need middle names, why wasn't that disclosed to me? Knowing that would have prevented this whole mess.

Relax, just get to the airport extremely early. If the ID drone gives you any hassle ask for a supervisor.

Welcome to FT.

You wasted your time in worrying about this and contacting the airline about it. Many, many thousands of people travel in your kind of situation daily and it generally causes no issue whatsoever on domestic or even international trips. Enjoy your trip.

While at the airport did you speak with a TSA supervisor?

You could be in for a world of trouble... See this thread (if you didn't already)

Clowns. ID doesn't equal security.

The "Secure Flight" database is in for a world of trouble, but the OP will be fine.

ID doesn't equal security, but the TSA hasn't realized that.

Thanks ya'll! After rereading the new TSA rules in the other thread, I'm actually in full compliance. The online agency I booked the ticket with had no spot for middle name, so I added it to the first name, they squeezed in as much as possible, it was the airline that couldn't fit anymore of the name. My boarding pass will match my passport to the extent the airline allows it to.

I find it remarkable that TSA is suggesting people change their drivers license to match their passport when there is only so much room on it. In my case, it's just not going to happen.
