Mrs Italy and I experienced the heighted security in ATL around 7:30 this morning. The X-ray screener had the bins going through so quickly the bins were getting dumped off the belt. The screener must have thought he was Superman using his x-ray vision to supplement the machine.

That would have been lovely if a bin with someone's laptop went crash-bang-boom on the floor.

That's a good laugh. You're assuming the TSA is holds itself accountable to anything.

I've had that happen. TSA isn't responsible.

I even had a TSA sling the bin containing my laptop across the rollers into the xray machine. On the other side the CD tray was stuck open.

"We're not responsible for damages." But you can fill out this complaint form that nobody will ever see...

Is there any other government agency which can violate the constitution, damage private property and do it all with absolutely NO responsibility for damage caused and without any kind of due process whatsoever? It seens to me that a boarding pass at a US airport is nothing more than a Bill of Attainder.
