are you certain of this? i always believed the rule applied only to citizen/nationals and LPRs, not "US persons" which really is a taxation concept. al Case in point - any management employee of a foreign enterprise doing business in Cuba using land or other assets confiscated by the Castro government (from the whiny Miami exiles, no doubt) is inadmissible to the US. A number of Canadians and Europeans were barred from the US because their employers conducted business in Cuba on land or facilities which met the definition of the rule. |
