Testing the TSA

Today I'm flying with a box of Aleve Liquid Gels. It has the words "liquid" and "gels" in big letters on the box: http://www.aleve.com/liquid_gels.html

Bets on whether this blatant disregard for policy will lead to confiscation?

If your goal is conflict, then I think you'll be disappointed. I've carried a few dozen gel tabs (restocked after every trip) for about a year now and have never had any problems.

That said, I've always carried them in an unmarked container, because the original container is way too large for travel. I have a doctor's note with me just in case, but have never had to use it.

I've never had a problem with these, but then again, I've never actually taken them to the airport with the intention of causing a problem... so...

Ah yes, take 10oz plastique, break it up into a couple of dozen pill-sized items, put it into a container marked "Medicine, I'm ok" and suddenly the explosive properties of the plastique are gone.

The TSA: For joke or novelty purposes only, not to be confused with real security.

I'm taking them to the airport with the intention of traveling with them and taking them for pain. What remains to be seen is whether the TSA has the intention of screwing with me.

Relax; they'll be fine.

(What I posted earlier was meant as a joke.)

Should probably take along a 4 oz. tube of that KY Gel just in case the gelcaps don't attract the required level of attention.

Or to distract attention from the Liquid Gels.

Careful, TSAers might grab it and toss it around to co-workers.

Actually it's for when they get instructions to Hand-Wand confused with Hand, never mind...
