Work for the TSA - No Way!
My son is currently jobless and without unemployment benefits. It was suggested to him that perhaps he could find a job with the TSA at EWR.
His response: He'd go on welfare or move in with his mother before he'd ever work for the TSA!
Way to go, son.

I don't get these posts. What do you want to hear? Yay, your Son refuses to work for an agency bent on using the Constitution as TP? That's all and good, but in the end your supporting him and he's sleeping on your couch. Government jobs pay well and have good benefits. They're stable and have opportunities for promotion. If it was my son, I would push him toward this opportunity in the hopes that once he was hired, he'd look for a better position with another agency. IMO.

You'd rather he collects welfare or lays around on your couch instead of going to work? We've all had jobs that we hated... you do what you have to do and look for something better at the same time. That's part of being an adult.

There are plenty of jobs out there. He can flip burgers, push wheel chairs, or park cars. Or does your son have a moral objection to those jobs as well?

It's called principle.
Strippers get paid pretty well too, but not everyone wants to do that.
