Unfortunately, the day picked to roll things out only takes salt in rubs it in the wounds of the events of this day.

Yep, very true. Hence the sarcasm in my first post.

Is glorious day for Communist Party! People's freedoms are crushed like Tiananmen Square protest and some Comrades have new People's Costume to show off.

I was planning on posting yesterday, but was ehh, too lazy to do it, plus, it's all jingoism to me.

Anyways, at least at my checkpoint, the supervisors (at least one or two of them) are going to be writing TSOs for minor infractions of the uniform policy such as unpolished shoes (I'm thinking they want military-style mirror sheen, I doubt that's going to happen on my cheapo $20 Wal-Mart Purtian brand oxfords, which I have to wear because the TSA's uniform supplier doesn't have any in my size in stock.), wearing the old name tag... and possibly gasp, wearing the white uniform... which some people are going to have to wear because they don't have their blues in yet... the recent new hires.

I understand having us to look professional almost the point of looking power-tripping mall security supervisors and such, but these two supervisors have been harping on it since July... they seem to care more about the uniform policy then enforcing the SOP.

What's even more funny, is today is my training/OLC day, so I won't even be in full view of the public though.

Supposedly, in the future, we're going to be screened randomly by our ADASP teams, but not at the moment.

You're assuming there that the TSA is there for actual security, and not a show of force.

Did you mean 'show of farce', Comrade?

TSA is there for actual security. Actual job security, that is.

Nothing like comparing our inept government officials to the folks who killed hundreds. Talk about a lack of perspective in regards to massive suffering.

Is actually more like millions killed by said 'folks' (overall), but what is few zeroes among Comrades, eh?

If we allow scumbags like those in our inept government to continue to destroy our civil liberties, destruction of our civil rights will surely follow.

Better get yourself some perspective.
