Keep 'em coming folks!

I've added some of the suggestions to the sticky thread.

If you haven't visited yet, the new glossary is here.

Thanks.....

In my opinion, comes from a US habit of mumbling through the middle syllables of words. This results in some US citizens pronouncing the word "terrorist" as "Ter'rist" or "Teur'rist."

D-Y-W-T-F-T? = "Do you want to fly today?" (a common refrain from idiot TSOs who are trying to use threats to illicit compliance from passengers)
Not to get all schoolmarmy, but don't we want to say "elicit" instead of "illicit" here?

No, that's fine. Appreciate the heads-up. We'll change it in the master sticky thread.

Thanks.

VBIT: Vacation-Bound Infrequent Traveler

Less commonly used synonym for Kettle or Sheeple.

Is that the same as SLF - Self Loading Freight?

Current Titles

DFS is currently DFO = Dual Function Officer. TSI is the current title for inspectors, not ASI. Thier duties used to focus mainly on Aviation, but have expanded.

I'd like to add one:

Propaganda Village - Nickname for TSA's blog. Named for Gijeong-dong on the North Korean side of the DMZ. It looks good from a far and blared propaganda into the South about how great the North is. However, no one lives there except a few caretakers, there's no windows in the buildings, and the whole town was built for show. They also have the largest flag pole in the world to show how great they are. Now substitute Big Catches, 9/11, no real substance to their security and the constant propaganda coming out of them.
