Just another item to maintain and keep track of.
My feelings exactly!

We had our "badge class" yesterday, wherein we were told what an honor it was for us to wear a badge, and how we were to behave accordingly ... but oh BTW, the badge conveys no real authority, so don't be flashing it around, children!

Made me throw up in my mouth a little ...

If they want to 'honor' me, they can just show me the money!

Or just give you an alternative of wearing a golf shirt with an embroidered badge, so you can be reasonably comfortable at work. I had the choice of that or a traditional blue uniform shirt with shoulder patches and a badge. The badge stayed in my locker and I, along with most of my coworkers, switched to the golf shirt with the embroidered badge.

good post ^ all around.

it's a stretch, but they could show you the money that it cost to have the "badge class" . better to put it to a good use by paying you than on a silly class, right?

Hi Scott
Just to all that don't know very much about the agency. I was an upper level former employee of this agency. These now called officers are Considered Federal agents and protected by law. DHS has a plans with this agency, In the future they will be issued the real goverment Id along with there new job functions. Just like in any work force you have the good along with the bad.

Your grammar adds credibility to your claim that you were an upper level former employee.

Welcome to flyertalk.

As far as where your facts come from . . .

Thank you!
It does not matter who believes me I personally dont care. Time will only tell. I have noticed that in the past people who complained the most about these agents were the ones that did not successfully pass the TSA Federal exam.

Now we know why TSA is such a mess, did you drink a lot of the water from the Potomac while in DC 67blue?

Please tell us about their training. Is it the same 26 week academy we require of police officers in California, or perhaps even more extensive?

Haha, thanks for the evening chuckle. If your grammar and spelling is any indication of your claim to be a former high-ranking official of the TSA, I believe you on that basis alone.

However, the TSA does not 'protect our nation', nor are they law enforcement, nor do they deserve our respect. The public knows all we need to know about their training, just as we know all we need to know about their 20% spot check pass rate and how it's a valid metric for wasting untold billions of dollars over the past 8 years.

Your claims are nonsensical, but amusing none the less. Welcome to Flyertalk.

Have fun.
Perhaps he is an imposter, but we do need something to balance out the shills installed by TSA, don't we?
