Is it worth complaining?

Hi, newbie here, not really a frequent flyer, but this forum seemed to have a lot of answers!
Flew back from EWR to LHR on Wednesday morning 30/4 and passed through the "security" check in Terminal B for gate 54. The 3 women on the scanner machine may as well not have been there, no interaction with the passenger and certainly not paying attention to what was passing through the scanner. All the time I was there they were just talking amongst themselves about what they did last night and who said what to who, you know the type of thing.....
Decided to play dumb and ask if I needed to take my laptop out of my bag, and got snarled at and then asked if I needed to take my shoes off and got double snarled at!!!!!
Obviously interrupting their conversation was not the done thing.......
So, is it worth complaining (to whom?) about their lack of professionalism, or is it just not worth the bother?

It's always worth complaining. It keeps us all from accepting their behavior as the status quo.

NeilM, welcome to FlyerTalk and the TS/S Forum!

Please take some time to look through all this website has to offer. I think you'll agree that FlyerTalk is a virtual goldmine for those of us who travel.

We hope to see much more of you around here in the future.

Complaining to the TSA gets your complaint filed in the round file cabinet. Copy your congressman/woman and your representative. While I doubt you'll get much of a form letter from each, keep writing.
