That page is about carry-on luggage, OP's aerosol(s) were checked. See the DoT (not FAA) version: http://safetravel.dot.gov/index_aerosols.html
- That page clearly indicates both checked and carry-on.
- Personal care items that happen to be aerosols are permitted in both carry-on and checked baggage. Reference the table in the section marked Makeup, Medication, Personal Items & Special Needs Devices.
- Per the Flammable Items section, those aerosols that are not considered personal care items are prohibited in both carry-on and checked baggage.

Thanks for the replies, I will explain what I was looking for.
Does anyone have a scan of the letter the FAA/TSA send out after they have removed items from your bag.
I lost ours, and would like a copy, can have your details blurred out.
Either email me at cressers at gmail dot com or if there is a link available on the web, that would be fine!!!
Thanks
