P.S. As for the driving of 6-8 hours being excessive, well....my BF lives in the UK and I live in Indianapolis. We are lucky if we see each other once a month or every other month. Would I rather wait in Indy for him to fly here or spend 4 hours with him in the car? I'll take the car, thanks. Frankly, I'd take any time I could possibly have with him, no matter what I was doing.

Thanks!
Thanks for understanding- it's been difficult living in two different countries. This summer he lived in Uruguay, so I got to see Montevideo and Punta del Este, and I just got back from London. So there's a fun element to it, travel-wise. But I really miss him and I'm REALLY looking forward to having him here for Christmas. Santa must know I've been really good this year.

For what it's worth, I understand. I used to live in PA with my now husband in CA. He connected somewhere and his flight to PIT got canceled and he had to wait 6 hours before the next one. I told him to get on a flight to Akron or Cleveland and I'd come get him there! I don't blame you for wanting to do this at all.
