I don't think this is on the TSA list of prohibited items.

now, where the wtmd and x-ray machines cannot detect explosives, let alone a radioactive material, and during the lighter is a no-no heyday as well as the number of >3.4oz bottles which are making it thru the checkpoints (not to mention the tsa's own failed tests), what makes you think it would ever get caught .

United Nuclear has much more. . .

Edit to say Spiff still hasn't taken me up on my offer of a one litre glass bottle of Neon gas. I'm still waiting for a trip report of taking that through security. It has only been two and a half years though.

At the ticket counter and the gates, there is a large sign warning you about what you can and cannot take aboard the plane. One of the items allowed is a "small" amount of radioactive material. I asked the GA about it one time and he said (if memory serves me right and it may not) that you could take about 2 pounds of radioactive material onboard the plane. I tried to find the info online and quit after not finding it on 3 web sites.

OK, FIRST of all . . . How in the world is it that Amazon sells radioactive Uranium ore

SECOND of all . . . I am afraid to know what one person will do with Uranium ore, anal probes and kinky underwear. yikes! scary combination. Again, I am afraid of Amazon.com

THIRD of all . . did you happen to notice the product reviews from customers . . . about taking over the world, etc . . . HI-larious.

All that said, I fear that the TSA "rule followers" may let it slip if it's not explicitly stated on the no-no list. ;-)
