Wait times?
Is it just me, or did the data on the "wait times" site increase for many airports? I remember the wait times used to be 5-10 minutes average, now it's 15-30 minutes for many time slots. Is this new or am I just not remembering correctly?
By the way, happy Halloween! :-D

Do you have a link to the wait times site for those who may not be familiar with it?

It's been up on the times listed on the website, and a little more in my experience too.
This is thanks to the TSA Checking ID's, their latest carnival. Partially because they like staring at them more, but more so because there are fewer people manning the stations, instead they're looking at pictures of us and wow, it matches the boarding pass. Amazing stuff!

Instead of automatically pinning the blame on the new TSA ID checkers, why don't someone give me an airport that still has the contracted ID checkers, then I can look that airport up and compare it to an airport that I know has TSA checking ID's now?

DEN still has them. It went from Airserv folks to TSA for a week or so, then to hired private security guards. They've added a few more people doing it, but the lines are still long because of configuration past the ID checker.

Yeah, because DEN is getting very extremely overcrowded trying to get passed checkpoint. TSA is not enough more ID Checker before passengers are headed into security. I think TSA need more worker will reduction waits time to get through. I know it mean no more wait 10 minutes to get clear security. TSA need to stepped up ID Checker before pax headed into concourse.
