Delta Flight 1824

http://www.homelandsecurityus.com/090907Flt1824

This is obviously op-edish and with a particular viewpoint (also note all sources are anonymous so take it for what it's worth) but I was wondering if anyone had anything more on this incident?

It's either pretty strange or pretty disturbing, IMO. I'm just not sure which one yet without some more info.

Once I saw Northeast Intelligence Network, I quit reading. Those guys are full of it.

The piece came off as being written as a "be afraid of brown people" and a lot of conspiracy theory. I don't think the gov't is trying to cover something up. On the contrary, had there been something to it, they'd be trumpeting this "success" just like they have every other one.

I put this article on par with the National Enquirer or Weekly World News.

I did read it, finding it full of misspellings and grammatical errors. That alone was enough to convince me that it has no credibility.

I agree 100% with everything you said.

If there was any shred of truth to this story, the TSA self-promotion machine would be trumpeting this nonstop. 24-7-365.

Notice the kind words these nutcases have for Annie Jacobsen:

These are the facts developed to date about Delta Flight 1824 from Orlando. Our investigation into this matter is continuing, accompanied by the tenacious investigative reporting of Annie Jacobsen, author of Terror in the Skies, Why another 9/11 could happen again. A well-informed investigative journalist about the threat to our air travel, Ms. Jacobsen is on the trail of additional leads related to this incident, and can be reached through her website The Aviation Nation.
These maroons are the aviation security equivalent of a supermarket tabloid.

The messenger polluting the message is not a surprise given the characters mentioned in the story. The "tenacious investigative reporting" of "Annie"

Yes, but it's brilliant in a twisted kind of way.

Racist paranoia sells, especially when the targets are accepted as fair game under the prevailing neo-political correctness.

Proof that you CAN fool some of the people all of the time on even the stupidest of reasonings.

I clasify her together with the 9/11 conspiracy theorists.
