TSA at LAX

I'm sorry in advance if this has been posted before, but I just found it. For all you TSA supporters, here's a great vid of the TSA (and our tax $$) at work!! Enjoy.

i dont get it. hows tsa any different from the dmv, post office, etc? or the private sector, for that matter. there are people who work and those who don't. there are people that know how to get away with anything, and those who just go through the motions.

I have to agree that it's pretty unprofessional to stand in the public area and not work. If that TSO was on break, then he should have gone to either a designated break area or away from the work area. Hate to say this, but I think he was probably a supervisor based on his stereotypical stance. Unfortunately, the video quality was poor, so it was difficult to see the shoulder boards.

By the way, there's another clip titled "Going in Circles" that's pretty funny. What the TSOs are doing is calibrating a WTMD, but it's great for laughs.

Um, let's see sinthetiq the difference is that we're supposedly putting our lives in the hands of the TSA and its screeners, and not the other government organizations you mentioned.

Bart, good to see you're back. I always enjoy hearing your insight about TSA situations

Yeah, hard to sit quietly until that penalty light stops flashing.

I can't tell from the video, but it looked to me as though they were waiting for more bags to come from the porters for checking. If that's the case, it doesn't seem they were doing anything wrong??

It is kinda ridiculous looking. I can only imagine what the public thinks when they see it. I'm just glad that there is a period of time when no one is around so we can get that calibration finished.

I have to say, I think it's a riot that the TSA folks are being "hard" on the guys in the videos and the rest of us are saying "no big deal."

Must be the Opposite Sketches. And a cookie to anyone who knows that reference.

I'll take that cookie.

Opposite sketches came from Nick's You Can't Do That on Television.
